Sponsored Energy 2009 conference! Marbek sponsored the Energy 2009 — Canada’s foremost industrial energy-efficiency conference on November 24-25, 2009, hosted by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME). We were also associated with three conference presentations on New Brunswick’s large industrial energy-efficiency program, Ontario industrial energy benchmarking, and mine water geothermal systems.

Industrial energy-efficiency program best-in-class! Marbek’s design and delivery support of New Brunswick’s Large Industrial Energy-Efficiency Program has exceeded expectations. The program, now in its second of four years, has surpassed its overall participation targets and is well on its way to achieving its annual energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets of 1,000 terajoules and 200 kilotonnes, respectively.
